“The Magic & The Wonder” has been supporting Kosair Charities and The Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies for 10 years. This year’s show will feature four amazing artists who will share the stage for two great organizations. The show is designed to delight and awe people of all ages.

America’s hottest Illusionist, Jason Bishop will perform for the second time in the Magic and Wonder event, along with Tony Chapek who is an award winning keynote speaker, entertainer and innovation expert. Joining Bishop and Chapek, is the famous juggler Ivan Pecel and local Louisville illusionists Patrick & Janice Miller.

Jason Bishop is back for a second time and remains America’s Hottest Illusionist. Jason Bishop might have a person passing through his body one moment or make goldfish appear from nowhere the next. Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition. Bishop’s interest in magic ran throughout his youth, truly taking shape in his mid-teens. In college, Jason studied theatre and then went on the road performing at resorts and amusement parks; anywhere he could find an audience, including the street. As audiences enjoyed the show more and more he altered his magic to become larger and more impressive.

Tony Chapek is an award winning keynote speaker, entertainer and innovation expert. Tony is the “world champion” of innovation. He is the world’s only three-time winner of the coveted “International Award for Originality,” and was 2007’s “International Illusionist of the Year.” He has made network television appearances worldwide, and on the World Magic Awards, he was “World’s Most Original Act.”

Tony has appeared at the world’s most popular venues, including Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle, and Las Vegas’ The Tropicana. He has performed for royalty at the Princess Grace Theater in Monaco.

Ivan Pecel brings the term “High Energy” to an entirely different level by delivering an unforgettable show unlike anything you have seen before. As funny Posteras a stand-up comedian, and as skilled as a Chinese acrobat, Ivan has appeared on MTV, America’s Got Talent, and the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

Able to entertain any size audience, Ivan blends world-class juggling, audience participation, and clean humor into a show that is sure to please any audience. Whether he is blindly kicking a flaming torch over his head, juggling ping-pong balls using only his mouth, or having you laugh so hard that you should have worn diapers to his performance, his show is sure to delight any size audience, no matter the venue.

Patrick & Janice Miller are no strangers to “The Magic & The Wonder” stage. The local Louisvillians have performed at previous installments in 2011-2016.

“The Magic & The Wonder” will be unveiled at 5 p.m. on June 11 at Whitney Hall inside The Kentucky Center for the Arts. Doors open at 4 p.m. and early arrivals will be treated to up close and personal magic inside the lobby. Ticket prices are $17.50, $24.50, $34.50 and available through The Kentucky Center for the Arts Box Office or online at www.KentuckyCenter.org.
