This four day event where street rod folks nationwide come together to show off their rides. Kosair Charities provides volunteers to man the 8 ticket booths during this four day event.

Ribbon cutting and “plug in” ceremony at 4 p.m., open house until 9 p.m.

Express Technology, Louisville’s premier retail technology center, today announced it will partner with Kosair Charities to celebrate its Grand Opening on Friday, October 30 from 4 to 9 p.m. A ribbon cutting and “plug in” ceremony will take place at 4 p.m., and an open house will immediately follow which will include drawings for giveaways, hors d’oeurves, and a chance for guests to view and test desktops, laptops, gaming systems, and more. Guests will also get a sneak peak of an unbelievable site – a fully functioning computer submerged in liquid. Kosair Charities will give away a 1GB jump drive to every child under age 12 that attends. In addition, a percentage of every Express Technology computer sold throughout the weekend will go towards Kosair Charities.

Representatives from the St. Matthews Business Association, the Lyndon Area Business Association, the North East Louisville Business Association, and other business and community
leaders will gather at the new store, located in the Shelbyville Road Plaza, to officially welcome their new neighbor into the St. Matthews community.

Bobby & Fran Renfro and The Junction Jamboree host a country music concert to benefit Kosair Charities

Feature performers include Kentucky recording artist Theresa Dunn, Nashville recording artist Ryan Ross, Emily Portman and Billy Curtsinger. Special appearance by Noble Ronnie Murphy, a three-time national and international harmonica champion. Also performing are Christy Miller, Tiffany Puckett, Harold Hutchins, Mike Boughey and The Junction Crossing Band. The event will be emceed by Lee Casey

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children. All ticket proceeds benefit Kosair Charities.

Networking starts at 5 p.m. Bowling starts at 6 p.m.

$10 registration fee per person – includes two games, shoe rental,T-shirt and refreshments. Fee must be submitted with registration form.

Maximum number of bowlers on each team is five. There will be three shifts of bowling starting at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. You may be on more than one team – there will be a charge of $5 for each additional team you bowl on. Family and friends are welcome to attend and cheer the teams on!
